2013 Brazilian Grand Prix Ticket News

The 2013 Brazilian Grand Prix will take place on 24 November 2013 at the Interlagos Circuit in Sao Paulo. Ticket prices have been released.

GRANDSTAND “A”                                                                                               US$350

The uncovered Grandstand A is located pit lane entance, and is arguably the best value for money stand on the Sao Paulo Interlagos circuit.  Allows you to watch the Grid formation, the pit straight, just as other interesting parts of the circuit. The entrance is through the gate A, located at Interlagos Avenue.

GRANDSTAND “B”                                                                                               US$1,300

Covered Grandstand B is located on the Pits Straight directly opposite the start/finish line. It presents you with an excellent view of the Pits Straight, including the build-up to and the start of the race, the chequered flag at the finish of the race, as well as a view of the podium celebrations after the race. This excellent grandstand also offers you some distant views of the circuit infield as well as some distant views of the first few pit boxes. The start line is located towards the middle of the grandstand. A number of smaller TV’s are located inside this great grandstand, enabling you to follow the entire race and not loose track of the procedures.

GRANDSTAND “D”                                                                                              US$1,150

Grandstand D is located on the outside of the first corner and as well as along most of the Senna “S”. This big grandstand provides great views of a small section of the Pits Straight, the first corner, the Senna “S”, all the way down to the Curva da Sol as well as distant views of sections of the Back Straight. The Senna “S” is a flowing right-left 150kph third gear, downhill sequence, followed immediately by the challenging left-handed Curva da Sol. If it is first corner action you are looking for, this grandstand is without a doubt the best choice by far. A number of smaller TV’s are located inside this great grandstand, which intensifies the drama and magnifies the action on other parts of the circuit.

GRANDSTAND “E”                                                                                                US$1,350

Grandstand E is located on the outside of the circuit between the Senna “S” and the Curva da Sol. The E Grandstand offers excellent views of the first corner, the Senna “S” the Curva da Sol as well as the whole of the Back Straight. Although more expensive than Grandstand D the seating is carpeted and food and soft drinks are included in the ticket prices for the weekend. This excellent grandstand offers you both bigscreen as well as smaller TV viewing, which enables you to follow the entire race and not loose track of the procedures.

GRANDSTAND “F”                                                                                               US$700

The Sao Paulo Interlagos Grandstand F is located at the exit of the Curva da Sol as well as opposite the Pitlane exit. The left-handed Curva do Sol is a long bend, which is quite bumpy and is taken flat out, at around 200km/h. It is important for the racing drivers to take a good line through the corner to carry the maximum speed onto the long Reta Oposta Back Straight. Grandstand F offers good views of the first corner, the Senna “S” the Curva da Sol as well as most of the Back Straight. The stand is unfortunately cluttered with steel scaffolding, which restricts and spoils your views. Please note that no TV screens is visible from this stand

GRANDSTAND “G”                                                                                              US$275

The long Grandstand G is located all along the Reta Oposta (Back Straight). Depending on your seating, this massive grandstand offers you views of the the Senna “S”, the Curva da Sol, the Back Straight, the Descida do Lago corner as well as some distant views of some of the in-field circuit sections. It can become extremely hot on this uncovered grandstand, so make you prepare yourself for all weather conditions on all the grandstands, e.g. sunscreen, umbrellas, hats, etc. This stand unfortunately does not feature any TV facilities or viewing.

GRANDSTAND “M”                                                                                            US$750

The covered Grandstand M is located opposite the pitboxes just before the first corner, a tight lefthander, which provides the best overtaking opportunity on the Sao Paulo Interlagos circuit. The racing cars reach about 295kph down the Pits Straight before they brake for this difficult downhill, 88kph second gear corner. This M Grandstand will provide you with reasonable views of the last section of the Pits Straight and the entry into the first corner. Unless you secure a seat located high up the grandstand, the views into the pit area is not great and the stand is unfortunately cluttered with steel scaffolding which restricts and spoils your views down the Pits Straight. A bigscreen TV is located towards the beginning of the pitsboxes is only visible from about one third of the stand and which for obvious reasons make the entire F1 Grand Prix so much more enjoyable.

GRANDSTAND “V”                                                                                            US$1,000

Covered in tubular structure, located at the end of 'Straight opposite, with broad view of several parts of the circuit, site of emotional position disputes. The racing cars brake from about 275km/h in fifth gear to 185km/h in third to negotiate the difficult and slippery right-hander, which is off camber in the exit. This excellent facility offers you excellent views of the Ferradura corner, most of the in-field circuit sections as well as distant views of the first half of the Pits Straight. The seating on this stand is carpeted, features a cash sandwich bar as well as a Pit Lane visit on the Friday afternoon is included in the ticket prices for the weekend. A number of smaller TV’s and timing monitors are featured inside this great grandstand, which intensifies the drama and magnifies the action on other parts of the circuit.

INTERLAGOS CLUB                                                                                                       US$2,700

This Interlagos VIP Club facility is located on the entry to the very difficult Ferradura Corner. The racing cars brake from about 275km/h in fifth gear to 185km/h in third to negotiate the difficult and slippery right-hander, which is also off camber in the exit. This excellent facility offers you good views of the racing cars exiting the Descida do Lago corner, the Ferradura corner, most of the in-field circuit sections as well as distant views of the first half of the Pits Straight. The seating on this stand is carpeted and sumptuous buffet lunch and drinks as well as a Pit Lane visit on the Saturday afternoon is included in the ticket prices for the weekend. A number of smaller TV’s and timing monitors are featured inside this great grandstand, which intensifies the drama and magnifies the action on other parts of the circuit.
